Lebanon
הַלְּבָנוֹן
Where is Lebanon? The Lebanon mountains, in Lebanon. I mark it certain.
Solomon's woodcutters worked on these mountains beside Hiram's men from Tyre. They felled the great cedars, floated them down the coast on rafts and hauled them up to Jerusalem for the Temple.

How we know where it was
The name explains itself. Levanon comes from lavan, white, for the snow on its peaks. The name has never left these mountains.
In the Tanach the Lebanon is two things. It is the source of cedar, the timber of kings and the Psalmist's picture of the righteous growing tall. And it is the ideal northern edge of the Land. Moses' last plea was to cross over and see "this good hill country and the Lebanon."
Visiting today
The Lebanon is in Lebanon and can't be reached from Israel. A grove of the old cedars survives in the north of the country, near Bsharri.
Read it in the Bible
Verse numbers follow the Hebrew Bible. In a handful of chapters English Bibles count one verse off.
